“The Other Half”is a series of collages created in pairs, each on one half of a vintage book page. As a lover of language, I drew titles for these pieces by reading from the unpainted side of each finished pair until I found a phrase that fits the completed work. All collage elements are painted by hand, and the series’ background pages come from the book “A History of France” by Andre Maurois, published in 1956.
